3 Imam Husain ibn Ali (a.s.) 50H-61H, 11 Yrs Fatima (s.a.) bnt Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh)		 Imam refused to give allegiance to Yazid and decided to sacrifice his life and that of 71 others to save Islam.
4 Imam Ali ibn Husain (a.s.) (al- Sajjad) 61H-95H, 34 Yrs Shehr Banu Imam was poisoned on order of Caliph al-walid.
5 Imam Muhammad ibn Ali (a.s.), (al-Baqir) 95H-114H, 19 Yrs Fatima bnt Imam Hasan (a.s.) Imam was poisoned in Medina on order of Caliph Hisham.
6 Imam Ja/far ibn Muhammad (a.s.), (As-Sadiq). 114H-148H, 34 Yrs Fatima bnt Qasim ibn Muhammad Imam was poisoned in Medina on order of Caliph al-Mansur.
7 Imam Musa ibn Ja’far (a.s.), (al-Kadhim) 148H-183H, 35 Yrs Hamidah Khatun Imam poisoned in Baghdad on order of Caliph Harun al-Rashid.
8 Imam Ali ibn Musa (a.s.), (ar-Rida or Reza) 183H-203H, 20 Yrs Najmah Imam was made crown prince by Caliph Al-Mamun.
He was poisoned in Mashad on order of Caliph Ma’mun,
9 Imam Muhammad ibn Ali (a.s.), (al-Taqi) 203H-220H, 17 Yrs Habibi Imam was poisoned by his wife in Baghdad on order of Caliph Al- Mu’tasim.
10 Imam Ali ibn Muhammad (a.s.), (al-Hadi, al-Naqi) 220H-254H, 34 Yrs Lady Samanah or Susan Imam was poisoned in Samarraon order of Caliph Al-Mu’tazz.
11 Imam Hasan ibn Ali (a.s.), (al-Askari.) 254H-260H, 6 Yrs Salil Imam was poisoned on order of Caliph Al-Mu’tammid in Samarra.
12 Imam Muhammad ibn al-Hasan (a.s.),
Mahdi, al-Hujjah		 260H- In Occultation Narjis Khatun Imam living in occultation since 259 H. He will reappear with Jesus to establish the rightful governance of Islam.
